Hi, I’m Krista and in 2018, life kicked my ass — I entered an eight-week recovery program that changed everything. I went through a two-year high-conflict divorce, walked away from my architecture career and sole income — all during COVID and while raising my daughter. It wasn’t fun, but I dug deep, discovered what I'd been missing and built a new & better life from scratch. It's a life thats providing me with the opportunity to help other women — not just emotionally, but strategically & financially, too. I spent 15 years in architecture designing buildings, and managing teams. But I didn’t just want to design spaces anymore, I wanted to design lives. My new focus in coaching started with divorce - helping women find themselves after life knocked them down. But I quickly found that so many of those women were also entrepreneurs at heart. They didn’t just want healing; they wanted growth, freedom, financial stability and a life beyond their wildest dreams. They want and deserve it all. And, I know business. I ran my own six-figure firm and managed three more six-figure businesses alongside it. I managed finances, created systems, and synthesized operations for over 20 years. And that’s why pivoting into business coaching was like coming home — it blends everything I know & love: psychology, strategy, and design with helping women solidify the next chapter of their lives. In 2023, my dad became sick, and I spent months flying back and forth between Arizona and Florida. He’d always been the strong one who I could call for advice, and suddenly he couldn’t stand or advocate for himself. It was heartbreaking, but it also reminded me of what matters most — being present, helping where you can, and using your natural strengths to serve. But first you need the time, the freedom and financial resources to do so. When my dad passed, I knew I wanted to live fully in my purpose. That’s when I said, “I want to get paid to be myself.” And I meant it — my creativity, my strategy, my resilience, my inner genius — all of it. That became the soul of Krista Young Coaching. As a coach, I blend business strategy and operations with money & personal mindset — to help women create businesses that are sustainable. I’m not about chaos, deadlines or burnout. I’m about clarity, confidence, and helping women create a business that operates and looks as good as they do. My background in architecture taught me how to turn vision into structure — to design a “blueprint” for tangible growth. I bring the same eye for detail, strategic thinking, resourcefulness and creativity to my coaching. We create systems that help you scale, protect your energy, and allow you to enjoy the freedom you started this business for in the first place.
