One of my social media handles is "bookkeepinggauntie." My main business started as bookkeeping and accounting. I then started adding advisory services (without even realizing it) because I've worked with so many industries. I've added some fractional CFO work into the mix for those who needed it. And now I can add Hello 7 Coach to my qualifications. There are a few lessons I've learned in my 20~ish years doing this. Here are a couple off the top of my head - owner mindset is essential (you are no longer anyone's employee and are HBIC), cash flow and profit are key to keeping your business afloat, money is one tool in your toolkit, time is your most important commodity and begin with the end in mind.
